Online Learning

We offer flexible learning schedules that let students acquire new knowledge and skills from home, easily and remotely. Using video conferencing and other online collaboration tools, our trainers work alongside students to give them hands-on experience and the chance to learn low-code and no-code tools to develop solutions on the Power Platform.

To join our online classes you need a laptop or computer with audio and video conferencing capabilities and a good, stable internet connection with enough bandwidth to support screen sharing and video calling.

We recommend that you choose a quiet place at home where you can be undisturbed for at least 2 hours. During this time you need to be completely focused on your lessons and your learning.

Learning Based on Modules

The learning path of our students is structured around module and course-based learning. We offer course combinations that let you select the right path and customize it to your future career needs. We don't believe in enforced learning, so we won't make you study things you won't need in your role as a Citizen Developer, or things you already know.

Our courses focus on data modeling, business analysis, modeling of business processes, and technology specifics such as Dynamics 365 business applications and the Power Platform. The modules let students pick the courses that interest them, making it easier to learn and pass the exams.

Flexibility

At Citizen Development Academy we work in your interest and want to make learning as easy, quick, and flexible as possible. Most students who take our courses want to keep their current job while they continue their citizen development learning and practice, all the way to becoming certified. We work with you to create a schedule and education plan that fits your life, and if the need arises we can reschedule and move you to another cohort to accommodate you.

Keep in mind that although this is an online program, it doesn't mean you only watch video lessons and figure things out alone. We don't encourage that. We make sure you learn under the supervision of a trainer, with real classes and a real teacher. The only difference is that you take them remotely.

Use of Real-World Scenarios

To teach you, we use only real-world scenarios. Our instructors craft them from their past projects, personal experience, and volunteer work. For us, learning is more than theory and lecturing, because that is not the type of knowledge or skill you need on the job.

We make sure that everything we teach is practical and skill-based, so you can put it to use right away to pass interviews or perform in your new role as a citizen developer. That is only possible when we teach you real-world scenarios and examples you can actually use in your new position.
